Position Summary: The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities relating to project management, strategic planning, and client customer service.Role and Responsibilities:Oversee and audit site safety and quality control programs.Issue all site safety work permits as defined within the Project Specific Safety ProgramEnsure site security and maintain site logistics management plan as defined by the Project TeamCoordinate interface between project management and site operation participants in the execution of construction servicesConfirm the design intent with architectural, engineering, and consultants in accordance with Standard Project Control requirements.Coordinate field trade activities in accordance with the CPM logic schedule and maintain a three week look ahead coordination schedules with all appropriate Project Team ParticipantsAttend all trade contractor weekly coordination meetings with Project Manager and/or Project EngineerCoordinate equipment and specialty material deliveries and staging requirementsAssist with MEP tie-in matrix coordination and scheduled shutdowns as required to support any associated on-site operational requirements.Support constructability and value management analysis with best industry practicesAssess trade contractor earned value statue with Project Management Team for monthly requisitions.Maintain project as-built documentation and site coordination drawings.Establish work completion and punch lists for trade contractors in accordance with established Quality Control and Quality Assurance ProgramsEnsure field installation compliance with all technical specifications, approved shop drawings and submittals.Support interface with Client Representatives on pro-active customer centric basisComplete associated Superintendent project control requirements in accordance with Corporate Standard Operating Practices and ProceduresSupport field investigation analysis for potential claim/ issue resolution practices with Project Team, as required.Support field close-out, commissioning, and validation requirements as defined with the Project TeamEssential Skills & Characteristics:Ability to work independently or as part of a teamFollow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workersStrict adherence to all safety rules and qualityInteract with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous mannerAt times may perform clerical/administrative dutiesEducational & Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or relevant work experienceOSHA 30 certificationRelevant trades licenses/certificationsMust be comfortable with A/Z’s web-based applications within 30 days of employmentPhysical Demands & Work Environment:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Additionally, the team member should have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, bend, reach overhead, and kneel, as necessary. The work environment may include GMP – Aseptic and non-Aseptic Areas, as well as Non-GMP Areas (Office spaces). All physical demands and work environment conditions comply with applicable laws and regulations.
