Job summary

Design Hire LLC is seeking a Superintendent to lead low voltage electrical construction in Santa Clara, CA. You will supervise fire alarm, security, telecom, and related systems, coordinating daily field work with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

You will review drawings, schedules, RFIs, and field conditions to support accurate installation and progress, while performing QA/QC checks to meet project requirements and codes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent or similar in low voltage/electrical construction.
• Strong background in fire alarm, security, telecom, or related systems.
• Experience on complex commercial/industrial facilities.
• Familiar with RFIs, QA/QC, and field coordination.
• Procore experience preferred.
• P6 scheduling is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings and CAD docs.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent field experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise low voltage electrical construction activities, including fire alarm, security, telecom, and related systems.
  
• Coordinate daily field work with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  
• Review drawings, schedules, RFIs, and field conditions to support accurate installation and project progress.
  
• Perform QA/QC checks to confirm work meets project requirements, code standards, and installation expectations.
  
• Track field updates, documentation, manpower needs, materials, and construction progress using project management tools.
  

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent, Field Lead, Foreman, or similar role within low voltage or electrical construction.
  
• Strong background with fire alarm, security, telecom, structured cabling, or related building technology systems.
  
• Experience supporting complex commercial, industrial, or technical facility construction projects preferred.
  
• Working knowledge of RFIs, QA/QC processes, construction documentation, and field coordination.
  
• Procore experience preferred.
  
• P6 scheduling experience is a plus.
  
• Ability to read drawings and work with CAD-based documentation when needed.
  
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent field experience.
