Clark's Lansing office is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily field execution on K–12 construction projects across Southeast Michigan. Based in Auburn Hills, the role requires managing occupied schools, coordinating trades, enforcing safety, and delivering projects on opening days while collaborating with the Project Manager on strategy.

You'll build strong relationships with district staff, lead weekly coordination meetings, and maintain rigorous documentation to ensure schedule discipline

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• K–12 or occupied-building experience preferred.
• Strong short-term planning and trade coordination abilities.
• Clear, firm leadership presence on active sites.
• Deep commitment to safety and quality on projects.
• Proficiency with Phoenix, ProjectSight and Bluebeam.

Why This Role Exists + What You'll Lead

Clark's Lansing office is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily field execution on K–12 construction projects across Southeast Michigan.

School construction is different. Buildings are occupied. Students are present. Summer schedules are compressed. Opening day deadlines are fixed. This role exists to ensure we deliver safe, high-quality spaces while coordinating dozens of moving parts inside active school environments.

You'll own what happens in the field every day - leading trade contractors, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining schedule discipline - while partnering with your Project Manager on overall project strategy.

Based in Auburn Hills, serving districts across Southeast Michigan - ideal candidates may live near Auburn Hills, Rochester, Flint, Bloomfield, Pontiac, Ann Arbor, and other surrounding areas.
