Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Superintendent for K-12 projects in Columbus, Ohio. You will direct daily operations to keep projects safe, on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards, partnering with the Project Manager to lead short-range planning and field execution for client satisfaction.

You will oversee scheduling, procurement, field activities, cost control, safety, and compliance initiatives while mentoring field staff and supporting RFQ/RFP responses and interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent overseeing K-12 construction projects.
• Must provide a project list showcasing K-12 project experience.
• 10-Hour OSHA Construction Certification.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, phasing, constructability reviews, and subcontractor procurement.
• Lead day‑to‑day field activities, manage subcontractors, and actively resolve field issues.
• Implement project schedules, control costs, and mitigate overall project risk.
• Enforce comprehensive quality control, safety policies, and site security.
• Manage permits, inspections, code compliance, and maintain accurate as‑built drawings.
• Facilitate Foreman meetings, participate in OAC meetings, and produce daily reports.
• Train and mentor Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents.
• Support business development by participating in RFQ/RFP responses and project interviews.

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 + Performance Bonuses (Weekly Pay)

Summary

As Superintendent, you will direct daily operations to ensure projects are safe, on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standard.
