ARCO National Holdings invites motivated students to join its Summer Superintendent Intern program in Irvine. You will assist on varied project sites, learning scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project execution from start to finish.

The internship emphasizes hands-on learning, real responsibilities, and potential for progression to a full-time role after graduation. Housing near the jobsite and daily per diem support are available as part of the program.

Qualificações

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree programs.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing/walking long periods, uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Support Superintendents on jobsites across multiple project types (commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment).
• Learn to create schedules, communicate with subcontractors, and help run projects smoothly from start to finish.
• Make meaningful contributions to ARCO’s project life cycle and overall success.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

At ARCO, an Intern works during the summer and has the opportunity to assist Superintendents with the following:

• Work on Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including, commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment and more
• Learn various skills from the Superintendent on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish and working with the Superintendent on the jobsite
• You will make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs
• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds

This represents typical base compensation for the role. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.

Pay Range

$25—$25 USD
