Job summary

Iconica is seeking an entry-level Superintendent I to join our team in Summer 2027 in Madison, WI. This role supports the field and construction teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on budget, and on schedule, while you gain hands-on experience coordinating activities and building client relationships.

You will assist with scheduling, daily logs, safety inspections, and coordinating with subcontractors, with opportunities to develop leadership, carpentry skills, and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least one year of construction field experience, including internship or co-op experience.
• Familiarity with construction and carpentry tools and equipment, including power tools.
• Understanding of jobsite safety procedures and practices.
• Procore experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, monitoring, and tracking critical path dates and milestone schedules.
• Support weekly foreman meetings.
• Document daily project activities through logs and photographs.
• Help define and review project expectations and scopes of work for subcontractors.
• Conduct weekly safety inspections and document observations.
• Perform carpentry and general construction tasks as needed to support field operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

As an entry-level Superintendent, you will support the field and construction teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, on budget, and on schedule. You'll gain hands-on experience coordinating project activities, supporting job site operations, and building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. In this role, you'll:
