Superintendent - Heavy Civil Construction - Northwest District 1

We are seeking a qualified Superintendent with a strong background in heavy civil construction, including earthwork, utilities, traffic control, paving, and signage. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience overseeing construction projects, ensuring safety compliance, managing timelines, and coordinating project activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Mentoring staff and managing project teams
• Reviewing and approving labor rates and change orders
• Managing contract administration and client relations
• Overseeing project budgets, schedules, and safety procedures
• Developing project completion and turnover plans
• Maintaining accurate documentation and performance evaluations

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of construction industry experience, with 3+ years in supervisory roles
• Experience in heavy civil projects such as roads, bridges, dams, water/wastewater treatment plants
• Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, and cost control
• Experience with heavy equipment, earthwork, utilities, traffic control, paving, and signage
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to relocate temporarily or permanently
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for complex projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Other requirements include reliable attendance, effective communication, safety adherence, and flexibility to work at various locations and conditions. Travel is required for this position.

Base salary ranges from $89,174 to $137,050, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The posting is active from 04/10/2025 to 07/01/2025.
