Job summary

Spencer Construction is seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to oversee all phases of complex projects, enforce safety, manage on-site crews, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

You will lead subcontractors, monitor quality, coordinate procurement and logistics, and report progress to senior management while applying OSHA safety standards on diverse sites. Travel to multiple job sites in the region is expected, requiring strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in heavy civil construction, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to project sites and work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities
