Job summary

Jobot seeks a permanent Superintendent to lead healthcare construction projects in Southern California, including TI, renovations, expansions, and ground-up work. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent in healthcare construction.
• Experience managing renovation, expansion, and ground-up projects.
• Extensive TI project experience.
• Strong OSHPD knowledge and procedures.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with tenants, architects, and stakeholders for TI projects.
• Plan and implement renovation and expansion projects, incl. scheduling and budgeting.
• Coordinate with OSHPD officials to ensure compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
• Provide regular progress and budget updates to senior management and clients.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Healthcare Construction projects, including renovation, expansion, and ground-up construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tenant Improvement (TI), OSHPD, and Commercial Projects. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all phases of our healthcare construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and support staff, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Managing all aspects of Tenant Improvement (TI) projects, including coordinating with tenants, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Leading the planning and implementation of renovation and expansion projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Coordinating with OSHPD officials to ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues or risks.
• Providing regular project updates to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role in the Construction industry, with a focus on Healthcare Construction.
• Proven experience in managing renovation, expansion, and ground-up construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Tenant Improvement (TI) projects.
• Strong familiarity with OSHPD regulations and procedures.
• Experience in managing Commercial Projects.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues or risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
