CCI Facility Contractors, LLC is expanding its workforce and seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead federal construction projects in Washington, DC. You will manage scheduling, safety programs, and coordination with the Project Manager, owners, and field staff to ensure code compliance and on-time delivery.

This role requires 10 years of experience on USACE/NAVFAC projects, OSHA 30, and proficiency with Procore and RMS.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ experience in similar projects, renovations or new construction.
• Experience managing USACE and NAVFAC government construction projects.
• OSHA 30-hour training required.
• Experience with Procore and RMS software.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to Contract Documents.
• Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily and with Owner as necessary.
• Lead subcontractor, contractor, inspector, and field coordination activities.
• Oversee safety programs and site health activities on project sites.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and monthly coordination meetings.
• Monitor budgets, baselines, and progress billing with Owner and subs.
• Maintain daily records and ensure compliance with building codes.

CCI Facility Contractors, LLC is expanding its workforce! We are searching for a Superintendent to join our growing federal construction business line. This role entails scheduling, subcontractor management, communication with the client and building occupants, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and assurance of compliance. Job Location: Washington, DC and will require night shift hours

Salary Range: $140,000-170,000/annual

Responsibilities

• Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to Contract Documents.
• Manage/maintain all necessary planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities.
• Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily.
• Coordinate/communicate with Owner as necessary.
• Manage subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, AHJ field coordination, daily.
• Manage field staff coordination with Quality Control Manager and Site Safety and Health Officer.
• Attend the pre-construction conference, pre-work meetings including three phase inspection meetings.
• Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Attend/participate in weekly Owner's meetings.
• Review and be knowledgeable of subcontractor's subcontracted scope of work.
• Manage all coordination necessary to complete the scopes of work and prevent extra work or lost time to the greatest extent possible.
• Be familiar with the subcontractor's budget and cost structure.
• Review and be knowledgeable of the Baseline Project Schedule.
• Provide input on dates, durations, and coordination, monthly.
• Prepare short-term detailed look ahead schedules, weekly.
• Request, prepare, and hold coordination meetings as necessary to support the Project Schedule.
• Coordinate with the Subcontractors and Owner for progress billing, monthly.
• Oversee quality control and safety programs.
• Manage deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading.
• Supervise equipment usage on site such as cranes or earth moving equipment.
• Ensure project conformance to national and/or local building codes.
• Maintain accurate daily records.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in similar projects, building renovations, and/or new construction.
• Experience managing USACE and/or NAVFAC government construction projects.
• OSHA 30hr.
• Experience with Procore.
• Experience with RMS.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Environment

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
