We are looking to add a strong Superintendent to join our team who is ready to lead ground up projects.
We are in need of a Superintendent for our construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to lead and oversee large-scale commercial construction projects exceeding $20M. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in complex project management, a strong understanding of the commercial construction industry, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. This role will require a dynamic individual who is ready to take on challenges, drive project success, and contribute to our company's reputation for excellence.
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
2. Leading project teams and coordinating with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
3. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Maintaining strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
5. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
6. Directing and supervising workers, subcontractors, and work activities.
7. Preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
8. Implementing effective communication plan and ensuring its execution throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Resolving work problems, disputes, or conflicts to ensure smooth project operation.
10. Ensuring project compliance with all building and safety codes, and other regulations.
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role focusing on commercial, multifamily, education, or something similar.
2. Proven experience in managing projects exceeding $20M in size.
3. Broad understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or other structures.
4. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve project-related issues efficiently.
6. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
9. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
11. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) will be an added advantage.
