Job summary

Sunstall Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field installation projects from start to finish, sharing accountability with the project team for on‑time, high‑quality, and cost‑effective completion.

You will coordinate with contractors, managers, and the branch to keep projects on schedule and under budget. The role requires leadership of field crews, strong communication, and hands-on safety program management.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in construction.
• OSHA 10 and/or 30‑hour certification required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff and coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and branch managers.
• Lead and mentor field employees.
• Attend weekly scheduling meetings to allocate manpower per project.
• Perform job checks on new jobs to ensure safety and readiness before initiating manpower.
• Review active jobs weekly to ensure manpower, production, and safety meet timelines and budget.
• Schedule and manage manpower for active jobs, including payroll hours.
• Coordinate and schedule all material deliveries to the job site.
• Order lifts and equipment and train team members on safe use.
• Provide progress updates to project managers and branch managers.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring for new field team members.
• Implement and manage job-site safety programs and conduct weekly toolbox talks.
• Complete site accident reports promptly and accurately.
• Ensure punch list items and quality issues are addressed to expedite retainage collection.
• Bilingual ability preferred.

POSITIONOVERVIEW

TheSuperintendentisresponsiblefortheoverallsupervisionoffieldinstallationfromstarttofinishforallprojects.Theyshareresponsibilitywiththerestoftheprojectteamfortheon-time,satisfactorycompletionoftheprojectandforkeepingcostsatorunderbudget.

ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS

• 7-9years’experienceinconstruction.
• Experienceusingestimationandprojectmanagementsoftwarepreferred.
• Certificateingeneralconstructionpreferred.
• OSHA10and/or30-hourcertificationrequired.
• Forklift,scissorlift,boomlift,fallprotectioncertificationspreferred.
• FirstAid/CPR/AEDcertificationpreferred.
