Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Superintendent to join an automotive project in Peoria, AZ onsite. You will lead field operations with the Project Manager, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

This is a field leadership role within an established team on industrial construction, offering growth and strong client relationships in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations to deliver safely, on schedule, and on budget.
• Plan and manage day-to-day field work, including look-ahead scheduling and trade coordination.
• Set safety, quality, and Lean practices onsite and hold team members accountable.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the design team to keep work moving and resolve issues early.
• Build trust-based relationships with owner, partners, and trades.
• Coach and develop field engineers, assistant superintendents, and craft team members.

The Opportunity

Barton Malow is looking for a Superintendent to join an automotive project in Peoria, Arizona. We are open to Superintendents at all levels, and final title and compensation will be determined based on experience.

This is a chance to step into a field leadership role with an established team and strong client relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Lead field operations, partnering with the Project Manager, project team, and client to deliver safely, on schedule, and on budget
• Plan, sequence, and manage the day-to-day work in the field, including look-ahead scheduling and trade coordination
• Set the tone for safety, quality, and Lean practices onsite and hold the team and trade partners accountable
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the design team to keep work moving and resolve issues early
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with the owner, partners, and trades
• Coach and develop field engineers, assistant superintendents, and craft team members

What We’re Looking For

• Construction field leadership experience appropriate to the Superintendent level, ideally on automotive or other industrial projects
• Demonstrated experience managing field schedules, trades, and site logistics
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach
• Ability to work fully onsite in Peoria, AZ
