Candidates must possess Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate PK-12 and an Educational Specialist degree or Doctorate in Educational Administration or an approved equivalent.

Qualifications

Arapahoe Public Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of the Schools. The District is located in Arapahoe in South Central Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 308 students. The District has up-to-date facilities; great staff; a strong, supportive community; and a cohesive Board of Education.

The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district's Board of Education. Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency. An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
