Job summary

Wolf Creek Contracting, LLC is seeking a Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations on commercial projects. This leadership role oversees crews, ensures work quality, and enforces safety policies on site across our eastern markets.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in construction, including government contracting, plus experience supervising teams and reading plans. A high school diploma is required; AS in Construction Management is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AS degree in Construction Management a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in concrete or construction.
• No less than 3 years of responsibility supervising construction.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting.
• Understanding of construction means and methods for renovation/construction of commercial and institutional buildings and site work.
• OSHA 10 and 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crew and prioritizes work.

• Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
• Conducts regular safety meetings.
• Fulfills all regular and advanced project duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
• Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
• Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
• Submits crewmembers’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.

About The Company

Wolf Creek Contracting is a general contractor serving commercial, industrial, and municipal markets in states across the eastern United States. Services we provide include general contracting, design-build, construction management, concrete, civil, industrial, new construction, additions and renovations, and streetscapes.

Primary Purpose

The Superintendent provides the knowledge, skills, and experience required to manage the day-to-day field operations of commercial construction projects that Wolf Creek Contracting undertakes.
