Job summary

Wolf Creek Contracting, LLC is seeking a Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. You will supervise crews, read plans, enforce safety, and ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AS degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete or construction; 3+ years supervising.
• Experience with government contracting and knowledge of plans, budgeting, and safety compliance.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crew and prioritize work per project plan.
• Monitor crew work for quality and safety.
• Read plans and material lists; adhere to timelines.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
• Fulfills project duties including layout and documentation.
• Organize, train, and lead crew to meet deadlines.
• Submit crewmembers' timesheets by the deadline.

About The Company

Wolf Creek Contracting is a general contractor serving commercial, industrial, and municipal markets in states across the eastern United States. Services we provide include general contracting, design-build, construction management, concrete, civil, industrial, new construction, additions and renovations, and streetscapes.

Primary Purpose

The Superintendent provides the knowledge, skills, and experience required to manage the day-to-day field operations of commercial construction projects that Wolf Creek Contracting undertakes.

ROUTINE DUTIES

• Supervises crew and prioritizes work.
• Monitor crew work for quality.
• Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
• Conducts regular safety meetings.
• Fulfills all regular and advanced project duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
• Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
• Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
• Submits crewmembers’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school degree or equivalent, AS degree in Construction Management a plus
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in concrete or construction
• No less than 3 years of responsibility supervising construction
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting
• A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and site work related
• OSHA 10 and 30 preferred
