Job summary

South Coast Improvement Company is a dynamic commercial construction management firm seeking a Superintendent to join our diverse team. You will lead safety, schedule, and on-site operations to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in commercial construction, OSHA 30 or higher, Procore and MS Office proficiency, and strong coordination skills. We offer health, vision and dental insurance, disability, a 401k match, PTO, auto allowance and fuel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in commercial construction, preferably for a GC, as a site supervisor or assistant supervisor.
• Enforcement of safety best practices and leading weekly tailgate/tool talks with daily safety checks.
• Interior and exterior renovation work including selective demolition, ceilings/walls, finishes, millwork and MEPs.

• Manage multiple subcontractors, tradesmen and laborers for the duration of each project

Superintendent Responsibilities

Superintendent Experience Preferred

• Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in commercial construction, preferably for a General Contractor, as a site supervisor or assistant site supervisor
• Enforcement of safety best practices as well as leading weekly tailgate/tool talk, and daily safety checks
• Interior and exterior renovation work including selective demo, ceiling and wall assemblies, finishes, millwork and MEPs
• Occupied renovations
• Scheduling and coordination skills are essentialManaging multiple subcontractor trades simultaneously
