Under the direction of the Governing Board and the administrative oversight of the Associate Dean of Continuing Education, the Superintendent serves as the chief executive officer and educational leader of BYU Academy Online Educational Services Agency (ESA). The Superintendent provides executive leadership for the organization’s mission, strategic direction, academic excellence, organizational performance, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability. This position leads the principals, directors, and executive leadership responsible for delivering high-quality online educational programs while ensuring alignment with the mission of Brigham Young University and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Superintendent is accountable for the overall performance of the ESA and serves as the primary liaison between the Governing Board, university leadership, and the organization.

Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
