Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and subcontractor activities from project start to completion.
• Supervise and mentor field staff and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with inspectors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Develop and maintain lookahead schedules.
• Conduct regular foreman and subcontractor meetings.
• Monitor progress and address delays proactively.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Enforce OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
• Resolve on-site issues, including delays, conflicts, and technical challenges.
• Assist in reviewing RFIs and submittals and provide input on construction methods.
• Provide weekly project updates to the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear communication between field teams and office staff.

Position Summary

Mosaic Construction Services is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations. This role is responsible for managing daily field activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring safety and code compliance, and maintaining project schedule performance.

The Superintendent plays a critical role in delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Coordination

• Oversee daily field operations and subcontractor activities from project start to completion

• Supervise and mentor field staff and subcontractors

• Coordinate with inspectors, suppliers, and project teams

• Develop and maintain lookahead schedules

• Conduct regular foreman and subcontractor meetings
