Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, based in Pecos, TX, is seeking an electrical Superintendent to oversee field projects in accordance with plans and specifications.

This role emphasizes on-site supervision to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship for the customer. Candidates should have a state electrical journeyman license or a four-year engineering degree or equivalent, plus 10+ years of supervision experience, OSHA30, and strong

• Experience with scheduling, cost control and supervising large teams.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction process on field projects per plans and specs.
• Ensure each phase is completed on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship.
• Inspect, review, and report on-site construction activities and subcontractor performance.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure on-schedule work.

General Job Description

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, seeking an electrical Superintendent in Pecos, TX.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary

Supervisesconstruction process of assigned field projects in accordance with plans and specifications to ensureeach phase of the work (total project or sectors of large projects) is completed on schedule, withinbudget, and withquality workmanship as expected by the Company and the customer.Supervises, inspects, reviews, records, and reports all on-site construction related activities in addition to ensuringassigned subcontractors perform their work on schedule.

Specific Qualifications

• Current StateElectrical Journeyman License orFour year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience (licensed journeyman)
• 10+years experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures
• OSHA30 or ability to obtain
• Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
