Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, in Pecos, TX, seeks an electrical Superintendent to lead field construction on assigned projects.

You will supervise on-site activities, ensure work meets plans, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to deliver quality workmanship.

Candidates should have extensive electrical construction supervision experience and a valid journeyman license or engineering degree; OSHA30 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State Electrical Journeyman License or Four year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.
• 10+ years experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
• OSHA30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and supervision of large teams.
• Strong communication, organization and planning skills.

• Oversee construction processes on assigned field projects to meet schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Supervise on-site activities, inspect work, review records and report progress.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of their work.

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, seeking an electrical Superintendent in Pecos, TX.

Job Summary

Supervisesconstruction process of assigned field projects in accordance with plans and specifications to ensureeach phase of the work (total project or sectors of large projects) is completed on schedule, withinbudget, and withquality workmanship as expected by the Company and the customer.Supervises, inspects, reviews, records, and reports all on-site construction related activities in addition to ensuringassigned subcontractors perform their work on schedule.

Qualifications

• Current StateElectrical Journeyman License orFour year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience (licensed journeyman)
• 10+years experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures
• OSHA30 or ability to obtain
• Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
