Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking a Superintendent to lead complex healthcare construction in Southern California, including occupied facilities. You will manage field operations, ensure HCAI/OSHPD compliance, and mentor junior staff across multiple projects.

You will coordinate teams, maintain schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards while traveling as project needs require. This role demands strong leadership and extensive healthcare construction experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of superintendent experience on commercial construction.
• Extensive HCAI/OSHPD healthcare construction experience is required.
• Healthcare facility projects (hospitals/medical centers) delivery experience.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors with aggressive schedules.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven mentoring and development of field staff.
• Willingness to travel throughout Southern California as needed.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Superintendent – Healthcare Construction (HCAI/OSHPD)

Location: Orange County, CA (Travel Required in SoCal)

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead complex healthcare construction projects throughout Southern California. Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project completion.




• Lead healthcare construction projects while ensuring compliance with HCAI/OSHPD requirements.




• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project teams.




• Maintain project schedules and drive production to meet critical milestones.




• Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.




• Conduct site meetings and proactively resolve field issues.




• Work closely with Project Managers to manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, and change orders.




• Coordinate inspections and maintain project documentation.




• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.




• Mentor, train, and develop assistant superintendents, project engineers, and field staff.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of Superintendent experience managing commercial construction projects.




• Extensive HCAI/OSHPD healthcare construction experience is required.




• Proven experience delivering hospitals, medical centers, surgery centers, or other healthcare facilities.




• Demonstrated success managing multiple subcontractors and maintaining aggressive schedules.




• Strong understanding of healthcare codes, inspections, sequencing, and regulatory requirements.




• History of mentoring and training field personnel and building high-performing teams.




• Willingness to travel throughout Southern California as project needs require.




• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ground-up and complex healthcare renovations.




• Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.




• OSHA 30 certification.




• First Aid/CPR certification.
