Job summary

Kevin Edward Group is seeking a Superintendent for its Ohio‑based in‑house construction division. You will oversee daily field operations for commercial build‑outs and capital improvements, coordinating with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and property teams to stay on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include supervising site activities, leading toolbox talks, reviewing drawings, tracking safety and quality, and maintaining logs. Travel to active sites is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, codes, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read construction documents and coordinate subcontractors.
• Strong field leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Procore experience preferred.
• Able to work on active construction sites and travel as required.

Responsibilities

About the company:

This role is with the in-house construction division of a vertically integrated real estate development company based in Ohio. The team provides general contracting and construction management across multifamily, build-for-rent, retail, mixed‑use, office, hospitality, and other project types. Its work spans the full development process, from early planning and preconstruction through project management and field delivery.

Role Overview:

The Superintendent oversees daily field operations for build‑outs, capital improvements, and other construction projects. Working with the Project Manager, subcontractors, property teams, and consultants, this role keeps work safe, coordinated, on schedule, and aligned with plans, budgets, quality standards, and code requirements.

Key responsibilities:
