Job summary

Omega Morgan, Inc. seeks a Superintendent to command field leadership, ensure safe and efficient execution, and manage coordinated work across crews, dispatch, and project teams. You will oversee safety protocols, pre-task meetings, and tool readiness to meet project needs at customer sites.

Expect continuous planning-to-execution oversight, strong communication, and leadership of riggers, crane operators, and field personnel in dynamic industrial environments. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in rigging operations.
• Strong background in machinery moving and heavy-industry settings.
• Familiarity with crane operations and load calculations.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient, and effective field execution.
• Daily coordination among dispatch, foremen, crews, project managers, sales, and customers.
• Understand the schedule and provide timely instructions to crews.
• Enforce safety protocols and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure pre-task meetings and JSAs are completed.
• Ensure crews arrive at sites with the correct tools and equipment.
• Coordinate load requirements, equipment specs, lifting points, site conditions, and crew availability.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair of rigging and lifting equipment.
• Support compliance with DOT requirements and industry regulations.
• Lead riggers, signal persons, crane operators, and other field personnel.

What You'll Own

• Safe, efficient, and effective field execution.
• Daily coordination among dispatch, foremen, crews, project managers, sales, and customers.
• Understanding the schedule and making sure crews receive timely instructions.
• Enforcing safety protocols and identifying potential hazards.
• Making sure foremen complete required pre-task meetings and JSAs.
• Ensuring crews arrive at customer sites with the correct tools and equipment.
• Helping crews obtain additional tools and equipment when conditions change.
• Coordinating load requirements, equipment specifications, lifting points, site conditions, and crew availability.
• Overseeing inspection, maintenance, and repair of rigging and lifting equipment.
• Supporting compliance with DOT requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable industry regulations.
• Leading riggers, signal persons, crane operators, and other field personnel.

• In-depth understanding of rigging techniques, equipment, and best practices.
