Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Permanent Superintendent to lead a major warehouse project from planning through delivery. You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and keep the project on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a superintendent role with strong planning, safety, and codes knowledge, plus excellent leadership and communication skills. This role is based in the Northeast with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven work as a construction superintendent.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Solid understanding of construction operations and processes.
• Proficiency in construction project management software.
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Superior knowledge of building codes, safety laws, and regulations.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
• Monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
