Job summary

Durwood Construction, LLC is seeking an on-site Construction Superintendent to own daily manpower, sequencing, and material flow on active job sites. You will enforce safety standards, lead toolbox talks, and ensure quality control from layout to punch.

You will coordinate with the GC and other trades to keep crews productive and safe. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field supervision experience with drywall, framing, or acoustical crews, reads construction drawings, and is comfortable

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years managing drywall, framing, or acoustical crews in the field.
• Proven safety leadership experience (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Able to read construction drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience on federal, healthcare, or secure job sites is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to regional project sites.

Job description

Own the field: manpower, sequencing, safety, and quality control on active job sites.

Our Superintendents run the field. You set the manpower, sequence the work, hold the safety standard, and answer for the quality of everything that gets installed — from first layout to final punch.

You’ll coordinate daily with the GC’s superintendent, keep crews productive and safe, and catch detail problems before they become rework. On federal and healthcare sites, the inspection standard is the daily standard.
