Job summary

RaezerConnect is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a full-time, on-site role based in Shreveport, Louisiana. You will lead daily field operations, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safe, on-time, and high-quality project delivery.

You’ll coordinate with project management, review drawings and specs, maintain schedules, and uphold quality and safety standards across all phases of construction.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a full-time, on-site position based in Shreveport, Louisiana. This individual will lead day-to-day field operations and take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of assigned projects.

The Superintendent will work closely with project management teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to coordinate field activities, maintain the construction schedule, and proactively address challenges that could affect project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily construction activities and overall jobsite operations
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and on-site personnel
• Develop and maintain short-term schedules aligned with project milestones
• Monitor progress and communicate field updates to the project management team
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements and applicable regulations
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure proper execution
• Maintain quality-control standards throughout all phases of construction
• Identify and resolve field issues before they affect schedule, cost, or quality
• Conduct jobsite meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders
• Complete daily reports and other required field documentation
• Support project closeout, inspections, punch-list completion, and turnover

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising commercial construction projects for a general contractor
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, field operations, and subcontractor coordination
• Proven ability to maintain project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build productive relationships with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
• Working knowledge of jobsite safety regulations and best practices
• OSHA certification is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is a plus
