Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a dedicated Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for complex healthcare, education, commercial, and institutional projects across the Midwest. You will coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and clients to drive progress and maintain safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will manage schedules, budgets, and project documentation while leading a team and ensuring seamless communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction across healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or similar construction management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain seamless communication and project progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the construction process.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Resolve issues or delays during construction.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize construction processes.

Job Description

The Successful Applicant

• Commercial construction experience as a Superintendent with experience delivering healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects
• Strong understanding of hospital, medical office, or healthcare facility construction
• Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms preferred
