Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will manage day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, and monitor performance across multiple sites, requiring travel to Ledcor offices and project locations.

The role emphasizes mentorship, adherence to plans and codes, and proactive problem-solving to meet client needs and ensure safety and quality. Travel on a rotation across states is expected.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or a similar role.
  • Underground fiber installation or civil/wireless construction knowledge is a plus.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline is an asset.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to directly supervise craft employees and sub-contractors.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

As an experienced Superintendent, you will be responsible for large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, and monitor performance. You will also anticipate client needs and provide solutions, share expertise and mentor colleagues.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes

Working Conditions
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
  • This is a site-based position that will require travel as needed to various Ledcor offices and project sites across multiple states on a travel rotation
