Job summary

CRM Rental Management, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent for Affordable Housing in Utica, NY. The role oversees the property's physical condition, leads the maintenance team, and ensures safety and preventive maintenance compliance.

The ideal candidate will manage relationships with residents and vendors while performing routine and emergency repairs. Excellent benefits are offered, including holidays, health insurance, 401(k) match, and PTO accrual from day one, with potential annual bonus

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time maintenance experience.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and household appliances.
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks and pursue professional development.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude for diverse interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, team members, vendors, suppliers, and service professionals.
• Diagnose and perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including minor and major repairs.
