Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, in Chester, VA, seeks an experienced electrical Superintendent to supervise field projects, ensuring work is on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards.

The role requires a state electrical journeyman license or a four-year engineering degree, 10+ years in electrical construction supervision, and strong leadership, planning, and communication skills. OSHA-30 is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Current State Electrical Journeyman License or Four year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience (licensed journeyman).
• 10+ years experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field construction activities and ensure alignment with plans, specs, schedule, and budget.
• Supervise and inspect subcontractor work to ensure quality and on-time performance.
• Maintain records and report site progress, safety, and quality metrics.

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, seeking an electrical Superintendent in Chester, Virginia.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary

Supervises construction process of assigned field projects in accordance with plans and specifications to ensure each phase of the work (total project or sectors of large projects) is completed on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship as expected by the Company and the customer. Supervises, inspects, reviews, records, and reports all on-site construction related activities in addition to ensuring assigned subcontractors perform their work on schedule.
