Job summary

Southern Walls is seeking a Project Leader to oversee on-site restoration activities, ensuring work aligns with project plans, safety standards, and client expectations. You will coordinate labor, materials, and equipment, acting as the primary on-site contact for clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.

The role requires 4+ years in construction with at least 2 years in a superintendent/supervisory capacity, plus restoration/building envelope experience and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s in construction management or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in construction, with 2+ years in superintendent/supervisory role; restoration or building envelope experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with restoration methods, drawings/specs, and construction management software; OSHA knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage all on-site restoration activities in line with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Scheduling & Communication: Maintain schedules, coordinate labor, materials, and equipment, and serve as the primary on-site contact with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Field Execution: Supervise crews and subcontractors, monitor performance, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality craftsmanship.
• Quality & Safety Oversight: Conduct inspections for compliance with specifications and workmanship standards; lead safety protocols and site safety meetings in alignment with OSHA and company standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, reports, and safety checklists; provide regular updates to project managers on schedules, budgets, and conditions.

• Scheduling & Communication: Maintain schedules, coordinate labor, materials, and equipment, and serve as the primary on-site contact with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Field Execution: Supervise crews and subcontractors, monitor performance, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality craftsmanship. Proactively address issues to maintain progress.
• Quality & Safety Oversight: Conduct inspections for compliance with specifications and workmanship standards. Lead safety protocols, toolbox talks, and site safety meetings in alignment with OSHA and SWS standards.
