Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Charleston, SC is seeking a Superintendent to lead the execution phase of commercial concrete projects. You will develop project plans, coordinate with the operations team, and ensure timely delivery of equipment, materials, and labor for your phase.

The role requires 5+ years in project execution for concrete contractors, self-perform experience, and a degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large-scale self-perform GC or concrete contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
• Identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepare their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

• Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
