Job summary

Helix Electric Inc. is seeking a seasoned field operations leader in Bell, California. The role focuses on safety, project oversight, and efficient field administration for large electrical contracting projects.

You will guide labor, materials, and scheduling while mentoring 15+ electricians and coordinating with prefabrication, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Journeyman trade certification in a related construction trade is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive safety and quality.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of applicable Building Codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficient in MS Office Suite


• Excellent knowledge of the Building Codes


• Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, CPR First Aid

Physical Demands

• Work in all elements, depending on location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow


• Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns)


• Weight limits: employees' personal weight and personal tools must not exceed ladder limits (Class 1–250 lbs, Class 1A–300 lbs)


• Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves) at all times; respirator when required


• Climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, and the ability to routinely lift heavy objects over 50 pounds; pushing and pulling of objects

Compensation and Benefits

The starting base pay for this role ranges from USD 125,000 to 150,000 per year. The actual base is dependent on factors such as location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range may be modified in the future.
