Role Description

The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Auburn, AL, responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations and coordinating commercial concrete projects. This role manages job schedules, supervises crews, and ensures that work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and company standards. The Superintendent will monitor site progress, conduct safety meetings, verify equipment readiness, and address issues or delays in real time. They will communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors, prepare daily reports, and support quality control and compliance with applicable regulations. The role also includes mentoring field team members, supporting training, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and job site performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction or concrete-related field operations, including coordinating crews and managing multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced field environment.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to work with diverse teams, clients, and trade partners.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, work orders, and project documentation.
• Commitment to safety, including familiarity with OSHA requirements and implementation of job site safety protocols.
• Basic computer skills for reporting, email communication, and use of project management tools.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between job sites in and around Auburn, AL.
• Prior experience as a foreman, superintendent, or similar role in construction or concrete services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or construction-related training is a plus.
