Harris Health System is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment for evaluation and patient care. The role supports Harris County's public health mission with imaging services at our facilities, including Ben Taub and Lyndon B.
Johnson Hospitals. Qualified candidates will have ARDMS or ARRT registration, a completed accredited sonography program, CPR certification, and either 1 year of ultrasound experience or a minimum of 3000 clinical hours.

To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of ultrasound diagnostic equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program, ARDMS or ARRT registered; Current CPR certification.
Work Experience (Years and Area): One year ultrasound experience or graduate of an ultrasound training program with minimum of 3000 clinical hours of ultrasound training.
Equipment Operated: Ultrasound scanners, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact),Writing /Composing (Correspondence/ Reports)
Other Skills: Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms, P.C.
