Pay Rate: $26–$28 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with some weekend availability required

Position Overview

A hospital in the Miami area is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Supply Distribution Supervisor for a contract assignment. This position oversees daily warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and the distribution of supplies throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy and efficient supply operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, storing, and distributing supplies and materials.
• Coordinate supply deliveries, replenishment, returns, and order fulfillment to ensure uninterrupted service to hospital departments.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper documentation of material movement and compliance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Oversee warehouse staff, monitor productivity and attendance, and provide training, coaching, and guidance.
• Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies and coordinate with vendors and internal departments as needed.
• Maintain order accuracy, timely deliveries, and efficient warehouse operations.
• Promote workplace safety and ensure proper use of material‑handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field, or at least six years of warehouse experience.
• Three to five years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control.
• One to three years of supervisory or team‑lead experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook, and experience using inventory or ERP systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule & Contract Details

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some weekend availability is required. Initial 3‑month contract with the possibility of a longer assignment. Compensation of $26–$28 per hour.
