Job summary

Ocean Key Resort and Spa, located in downtown Key West, is seeking a Support Staff member for Sunset Pier Restaurant. The role encompasses food running, barback, and resort services to ensure guests experience the best in hospitality.

Ideal candidates have prior high-volume restaurant experience, can lift 5–50 pounds, and remain mobile for long shifts. A positive attitude and effective communication with guests and colleagues are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Previous high-volume restaurant experience is required.
• Must be able to exert physical effort in lifting 5 to 50 pounds.
• Stand and be mobile for long shifts (8+ hours).
• Clear communication with guests and team members.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help across resort services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food running and barback duties.
• Provide resort services to guests as needed.

The world-famous Sunset Pier Restaurant has an opening for a Support Staff position including food running, barback, and resort services.

Requirements

You own this if you have...

Previous high-volume restaurant experience is required.

• Must be able to exert physical effort in lifting 5 to 50 pounds
• Push/Pull 50 + pounds
• Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
• Remain in mobile and standing position for at least 8 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and with other departments and interdepartmentally
• Must have positive attitude
