A successful Pastry Chef at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess: 1+ years of large- scale baking/pastry experience with

Qualifications

• 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus; however, it is not a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a menu of more than 40 pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins from honest, whole ingredients.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and customer service in a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Work early morning shifts, with some shifts starting before sunrise; lift and move heavy ingredients as part of daily duties.
