Job summary

The Kroc Center in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Morning Lifeguard to cover the opening pool shift (5:15 am–1:00 pm), a 25 hour/week role. Responsibilities include supervising activities, assisting patrons, and enforcing safety rules in accordance with state staffing plans.

Eligible to earn extra through a Swim Instructor role and weekend shift differential. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, sick days, personal days, wellness incentives, pension contributions, life insurance, and paid

Qualifications

• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required.
• Waterpark Certification preferred; must be completed upon hire.
• 1 year lifeguarding experience in a group environment preferred.
• Experience with adults, youth, and children.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety regulations and monitor pool activities to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist patrons and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness and perform light facility upkeep.
• Rescue swimmers in danger and provide first aid/CPR when needed.
• Operate according to the Wisconsin approved aquatic staffing plan and procedures.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment and participate in staff training.
