Job summary

Leisure Living's Oliver Woods Assisted Living and Memory Care in Owosso, MI, seeks a full-time dining services associate for 6am-2pm shifts. You will prepare planned menus, serve residents, and maintain high hospitality standards in the dining room.

Responsibilities include balancing nutrition and taste, ensuring dietary restrictions are offered, assisting with inventory, and upholding safety and sanitation standards while engaging with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of cooking and baking experience from scratch in a commercial setting preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced meals based on pre-planned menus.
• Ensure meals meet resident dietary needs and preferences; maintain sanitation standards.
• Complete dining room service including setup, service and cleanup with high hospitality standards.
• Assist with inventory and keep supplies in kitchenettes and common areas.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors and support special events.
