Job summary

Onvo is seeking a friendly Breakfast Attendant to create a welcoming start to guests' days at our Wilkes-Barre area location. You will set up the buffet, prep simple items, monitor food temperatures, and ensure everything is clean and well-stocked to meet company standards.

You will greet guests, provide courteous service, and maintain the breakfast area, including sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, stocking supplies, and reporting any issues.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet and ensure items are fresh and replenished.
• Prepare simple items such as waffles and oatmeal.
• Monitor food temperatures and uphold food safety standards.
• Greet guests and provide courteous service.
• Clean and sanitize breakfast area surfaces and equipment.
• Wash dishes and keep the area tidy; stock supplies and napkins.
• Report equipment malfunctions or inventory shortages to management.
• Assist with additional duties to support smooth hotel operations.
