Job summary

Watermill Kitchen + Bar, the award-winning restaurant inside Hyatt Regency Coralville, seeks a part-time Breakfast Server for 6:00 AM–2:00 PM shifts. Expect friendly, attentive service, menu guidance, and accurate order entry in a fast-paced breakfast service.

Compensation is $10/hour plus tips, with benefits including a supportive culture, discounts, and perks after onboarding. Prior hospitality experience is valued and reliability for early shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn menu items and daily specials.
• Ability to carry trays up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle guest payments.
• Professional appearance and reliability for early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly in a friendly and professional manner.
• Explain menu items, specials, and answer guest questions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Enter orders into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages with accuracy and presentation.
• Refill beverages and check on guests during meals.
• Present and process guest checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized service station.
• Complete side work and stock service areas.
• Assist teammates and hosts when needed.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain standards.
• Provide excellent hospitality to ensure a positive guest experience.
