Watermill Kitchen + Bar, located inside the Hyatt Regency Coralville, seeks a part-time Breakfast Server to provide friendly, attentive service during breakfast shifts. Weekend availability from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM is required, with occasional weekday shifts in the same hours. Compensation starts at $10/hour plus tips, with various perks.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
• Ability to carry trays up to 30 lbs.
• Professional appearance and reliability for early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly in a friendly and professional manner.
• Explain menu items, specials, and answer guest questions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Enter orders into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages with accuracy and presentation.
• Refill beverages and check on guests throughout their meal.
• Present and process guest checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized service station.
• Complete assigned side work such as polishing silverware and stocking service areas.
• Assist teammates and hosts when needed.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain restaurant standards.
• Provide excellent hospitality to ensure a positive guest experience.
