Hy-Vee's Market Grille is seeking a Breakfast Cook to join the heart of our morning operation. You’ll prep ingredients, assemble dishes, and keep the kitchen running from first shift to last, delivering hot and cold breakfast items with consistent quality.

You’ll greet customers, maintain cleanliness, follow recipes, and work as a team to ensure fast, friendly service in a busy store environment in Sioux City, Iowa.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Prepare cooking surfaces and ready the kitchen for service.
• Prepare vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast foods according to restaurant recipes and specifications.
• Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary throughout your shift.
• Prepare items for upcoming shifts to ensure a smooth transition.
• Stay knowledgeable of all menu items and take guest orders as needed.
• Order product and supplies when necessary or notify the department head of needs.
• Practice proper sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned.
• Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress standards, and all Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines.
• Report to work when scheduled and on time.
