Lizard's Thicket is seeking a Breakfast Cook / Short-Order Cook to join our kitchen team. The role involves preparing traditional breakfast items, following our recipe manual, and working early morning shifts starting around 5 am.

You will be part of a fast-paced environment focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. We value reliability, teamwork, and strong customer service as you handle orders and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a cook or in a relevant role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible, dependable, and able to work holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare traditional breakfast foods following our recipe manual using grill/oven/waffle iron/toaster/fryers or other kitchen equipment.
• Work 5 am start with 8- to 10-hour shifts, fast-paced and under pressure to ensure quality and timely service.
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and sanitary practices.
• Ensure food quality and consistency and present dishes to customers.
