Job summary

Lizard's Thicket is hiring a Breakfast Cook / Short-Order Cook to join our Blythewood kitchen team. You will start around 5 am, work an 8- to 10-hour shift, and prepare traditional breakfast items following our recipe manual to deliver fast, high-quality service.

We offer competitive hourly wages ($12.00–$15.00) with full-time or part-time options, daily pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, a $15,000 life policy after 60–90 days, vacation/PTO, discounts, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience as a cook or in a relevant role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare traditional breakfast foods by following our recipe manual on the grill/oven/waffle iron/toaster/fryers or other kitchen equipment.
• Report to work at 5 am and work an 8-10 hour shift in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and sanitary food-handling practices daily.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to customer service to ensure a quality experience.
