Job summary

Residence Inn Chicago Deerfield is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare all breakfast items for the buffet, plate items, and replenish products while following brand guidelines. You will greet guests, restock and clean condiment areas, maintain a clean dining area, and ensure food handling and sanitation protocols are followed.

You will work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, lift up to 40 pounds, and assist with inventory and basic food service duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Food handler’s permit required.
• Prior server experience in restaurant, café, or hotel environment preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability and willingness to work varied and flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, warmly, and courteously.
• Restock and clean condiment areas and empty trash as needed.
• Prepare breakfast items according to instructions and maintain sanitation.
• Keep dining areas and service stations clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering as requested by management.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment.
