Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an instructor to lead a Bootcamp class on Thursday mornings at 6:00am, serving participants of all ages. The role involves designing instructional programs and demonstrating proper techniques across Education, Athletics, or Performing Arts.

You will teach from beginner to advanced levels, provide feedback, ensure safety, and maintain a positive, engaging learning environment. A minimum of three years teaching experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of prior experience teaching or working in the area of instruction.
• Certification at an intermediate level preferred.
• Must have up-to-date personal insurance where applicable.
• High School diploma or GED equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Instruct with sound principles in group exercise.
• Teach beginners to advanced learners in group exercise.
• Provide guidelines for development in group exercise.
• Give feedback to participants on performance.
• Create and implement planned practices for all ages.
