Job Description

You’re the first smiling face our guests see every time they enter a Flanigan’s, and likely the last as they go on their merry way. You set the tone for the entire experience, greeting all of our friends and family in a warm and welcoming way. You help usher guests to their tables, manage the flow of seating, field inquiries, and greet people on the way out, just as nicely as on the way in. We’re always looking for the most friendly, hospitable people to join the team.

Responsibilities
  1. Display and maintain a cheerful and courteous temperament, as well as a neat and clean professional image.
  2. Greet guests with Flanigan’s "Smile Talk".
  3. Engage guests in Flanigan’s "Smile Talk" while escorting them to their table in a timely manner.
  4. Efficiently manage the Wait List for seating.
  5. Communicate guest questions or concerns to the Manager on duty.
  6. Keep foyer, host/hostess station, wait area clean and free of debris; restock and clean menus.
  7. Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests.
  8. Answer telephone within 4 rings, answer guests’ questions, and/or direct guests to proper staff member.
  9. Conclude guests’ visit with Flanigan’s "Smile Talk".
  10. Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework.
  11. Can reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
  12. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  13. Speak, read, and write English fluently.
  14. Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification, in compliance with Florida statutes.
  15. Work a five (5) day work week.
